I started Faith to Art this year with the aim of bringing together my Christian faith with my love of landscape painting. Inspired by Psalm 9:1
“I will praise you, Oh Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of your wonders”
When beginning a new painting, I take time to pray and invite God into my creative process and I feel inspired by His vision.
My paintings always begin outdoors in the landscape, experiencing an emotional and spiritual connection to the landscape. I believe this creative energy is a precious gift from God.
I completed a degree in Fine Art in 1992 which began a lifetime of painting inspired by landscape, from majestic mountains in Snowdonia, dramatic coastal scenery to my local countryside in Warwickshire. I never tire of the observing the changing seasons, sky, atmosphere and light, the forms and shapes of trees, fields and hills.
I work in a range of mediums, including oils, watercolor and mixed media.

I have a range of original landscape paintings, fine art giclee prints and cards of my artwork available on my faith to Art Etsy shop. I enjoy painting a variety of landscapes; coastal scenes, dramatic waterfalls, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, trees and seasonal countryside scenes.
I use giclee printing because it produces beautiful results, it’s a fine art inkjet process of printing that creates high quality images on professional artists paper, bringing artwork to life in stunning detail.
Prints are available unframed, or mounted in simple white frames to highlight the beautiful landscape images.
There are 2 sizes of frame to choose from:
small - makes a lovely gift and adds a beautiful addition to a shelving display in the home
large - framed within a white mount that enhances the image’s impact, can be freestanding or wall mounted.
All my greetings cards are printed from original artwork and are blank inside for your own message. Most cards include a bible quote on the back, for example “Lanzarote sunrise”

“Hope’s harvest” - £200
Original oil painting inspired by harvest scene in North Warwickshire. I completed the painting recently after spending time on location sketching and in prayful contemplation, inviting God to share His vision for the picture.
